Milton Keynes - Green Spaces
This film tells the story of the development of the much-loved green spaces of Milton Keynes and some of the people involved. I grew up in MK and I remember it as an exciting place. I loved the ambitious concept artwork and models, then seeing new things regularly coming to life.
The more I researched this project, the more it became apparent that there were some fascinating players who made the landscape happen, key to the success was a brilliant bloke called Neil Higson.
I was determined for this to be both informative and joyful. It was a fascinating ride making this short film, with great help from my friends.
“Thank you, I like your style and the piles of pebbles”. Neil Higson.
The full 8 minute film is projected large, on a loop in the new gallery space at The MK Museum. I hope you’ll go and have a look, it’s a fascinating place. Here’s a short trailer.
